In respect to this website, Lowrie Associates Limited is the Data Controller.

What information we collect and how

User-Provided Information:
When you register with our website you will be asked to voluntarily provide your email address and other private information. If you correspond with us by email, we may retain the content of your email messages, your email address and our responses. If you invite a friend to try Far2MuchMail.com, we will use that friend's email address for the sole purpose of sending your invitation.

Cookies Information:
When you visit Far2MuchMail.com, we may send one or more cookies - a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters - to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. A cookie does not collect personal information about you. We use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive after you close your browser. Clear Gifs Information:
When you use our service, we may employ clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons) which are used to track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously. No personally identifiable information from your account is collected using these clear gifs. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients. The information is used to enable more accurate reporting, improve the effectiveness of our marketing, and make our service better for our users.

Email Statistics:
When you use our Far2MuchMail.com email client plug-in, we gather email statistics and build various Key Performance Indicators ("KPIs") based on these statistics. These statistics are sent to our servers as part of the normal operation of the service. This information is available to you from our website as part of the service and is used in creating group statistics as part of our Community Mail Services. No personal information about you, your emails, the content of these mails or distribution lists are transmitted to our servers or published in any way.

What we do with your information

Automatically Recorded Information:
No claim to any ownership of any private information, email content, etc., is made by the us. All such content will remain your private information. As part of our service, statistical information about your emails is transmitted to our servers and this information is automatically recorded. Your email statistics are then used as part of the email filtering service we provide to you. These statistics will also be used anonymously as part of the Community Mail Services provided by us to our members. In building these statistics and email KPIs, our plug-in will read the header, body and distribution list data from your email account. In addition, our plug-in may record various details related to these emails. However, no private details relating to the content of your email account is transmitted to our servers or made available to you or other members from our website. All such information remains private and limited to the machine running our plug-in.

Opt-in Recorded Information:
During the normal operation of our plug-in software, we may provide additional opt-in services. The information recorded as a result of your opting in to an optional service may be recorded by our servers and used to as a part of the overall service we offer to you. You can opt in or out of these services at any time. 

User-Provided Information:
By providing to us your email address you consent to our using the email address to send you service-related notices, including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail. You may opt out or change the frequency of many service-related communications by clicking an email preferences link provided at the end of every email we send. We may also ask your permission to use your email address to send you other messages, such as newsletters, changes to features of the service, or special offers. If you do not want to receive such email messages, you may unsubscribe or change your mailing preferences by clicking a link that will appear at the end of all email communications.
